as early as 2021, my country started to lay out the flying car industry and achieved remarkable results. in the field of science and technology, we have a strong technical foundation. for example, the domestic large aircraft and intelligent networked electric vehicles have made great achievements in technology accumulation, which also provides rich experience and resource support for the flying car industry. at the same time, the active promotion of government policies has provided a solid foundation for the vigorous development of the flying car industry.
in december last year, the manned evtol independently developed and produced by ehang intelligent obtained the world's first unmanned manned aircraft production license, becoming the only manned evtol model that has collected type certificates, standard airworthiness certificates and production licenses. as evtol companies continue to achieve the first flight of prototypes and large-load and long-range test flights, the low-altitude economic industry is gradually moving from its infancy to a high-speed growth stage, which has brought a shot in the arm to the emerging flying car industry.
not only that, china has also demonstrated its leading edge in the field of evtol. amphibious "flying cars" are at the forefront of the world. we have advanced technology, mature airworthiness solutions and perfect operating standards. this has enabled ehang to obtain many orders in southeast asia, europe and the middle east, bringing china's novel air transportation method to the global market.
in the next few years, china will occupy a market share in the global low-altitude economy. it is estimated that under the neutral forecast in 2030, my country's evtol market will account for 25% of the global market. however, the road to affordable flying cars is not achieved overnight.
on the technical level, battery performance indicators, motor performance and flight control systems still need to be further optimized and improved. cost control has also become a key factor. we need to find the best solution to balance technology and cost to make flying cars a more convenient and economical way of travel. at the same time, infrastructure construction is also an indispensable key. vertical take-off and landing airports, parking areas, terminals, communication and navigation facilities, etc. are all indispensable parts.
finally, it is necessary to improve the low-altitude airspace management, formulate detailed safety regulations and strengthen relevant supervision measures. this will lay a solid foundation for the commercialization of flying cars.
